A lawyer for the unsecured creditors who sued the executives and board said last year's trial provided the jury with plenty of evidence to support the verdict.

The board also knew that the home needed a full-time administrator and that Causey was only working part-time, he said.
"They were recklessly indifferent to proper operation of the home," he said. He asked the judges to uphold the verdict and damages award.
