In addition to the murder charge, Ranson is charged with one count each of homicide by vehicle without malice in the second degree, homicide by vehicle without malice in first degree, leaving the scene of an accident, aggressive driving, striking a fixed object, failing to report accident involving a death, failing to stop and render aid, fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, reckless driving, driving too fast for conditions and theft by receiving stolen property.
Other traffic charges include no passing, having no fault insurance, no state driver's license, seat belt violation, speeding and a stop sign violation.
