"It's a new touch. The top three runners in each age group (male and female) receive a medal," said Sellars. "Top three overall get a special prize too."
Sellars said the charity run means a ton of support for the organization. "This run is a way for people out there to help. We are continuously registering participants and will do so up until ten minutes before race start," she said.

Sellars stated the family fun run portion is a half mile untimed run for younger members of the family. There is no fee or registration, but participants do not get a t-shirt.
"It's a no pressure walk, or run if they want. Its just something for families to do. Many times people just want to come out with the family and participate. This is a great way to be involved...we also have a training guide posted on our website with tips on how to work your way on getting your body ready for a 5k," continued Sellars.
"It's very important to note that none of this would be possible without our volunteers and sponsors...They're all wonderful," said Sellars.
