McMorris Rodgers: When Does This Get Ridiculous?
WASHINGTON, DC - House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) released the following statement today after the Obama Administration announced an extension of the Obamacare enrollment deadline beyond March 31:
"This latest delay is further evidence that Obamacare is fundamentally unworkable. The Administration has, yet again, unilaterally decided not to enforce its own law. The American people continue to pay the price for bad policy - through cancelled plans, higher premiums, and lost coverage - and the effects of Obamacare continue to hit people where it hurts the most. Common-sense, patient-centered health care reform is a crucial part of the Republican plan to build an America that works. The President's onerous law and its many convoluted changes are only making life harder for Americans all across this country."
