Financial professionals are trying to figure out exactly what types of advice consumers are most likely to seek.
March 22--THOMASVILLE -- The deadline for consumers seeking insurance coverage on the Healthcare Information Exchange is just days away -- March 31.
And though many Americans have already made decisions on how they'll proceed with health insurance, for some, navigating the Healthcare Information Exchange seems daunting and difficult, so they have yet to make their decision.
To help community members find insurance options that best meet their unique healthcare and budget needs, information sessions on the Healthcare Insurance Exchange will be held in Thomasville. As a resource for the community, Archbold Memorial Hospital will host licensed federal insurance navigators on Tuesday and Friday in the East Tower classrooms at the hospital. Navigators will answer questions and provide guidance on selecting the best affordable plan for a consumer's individual needs and will help attendees evaluate their eligibility and inform them of available subsidies. They will also be available to guide consumers through the application process.
Those taking advantage of the application assistance should bring all social security numbers, as well as tax return information for each household member (pay stubs and W-2 forms are acceptable), and policy numbers for any current health plan that covers individuals in the household.
The information sessions are open to the public on a walk-in basis. For more information, call 229-584-5520.
