Fiscal note dooms guns-in-parks bill in House subcommittee

Among the latter are two bills that would effectively repeal the handgun carry permit law and allow anyone to carry a gun if he or she can legally own one.

-- A bill (HB1927) that would have cut the cost of permits for veterans failed on a 3-3 vote with two members abstaining.
