Gov. Perry Reappoints Four to Finance Commission of Texas

AUSTIN, Texas, March 14 -- Gov. Rick Perry, R-Texas, announced the following appointment:
Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed four members to the Finance Commission of Texas for terms to expire Feb. 1, 2020. The commission ensures banks, savings institutions, consumer credit grantors and other state-regulated financial entities operate responsibly to enhance the financial well-being of Texans.
Stacy G. London of Houston is a certified mortgage consultant and president of Houston Capital Mortgage. She is a member of the National, Texas and Houston Mortgage Bankers associations, a member, past president and director of the Greater Houston Association of Mortgage Professionals and a past member of the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending Advisory Board. London received a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Houston.
Lori McCool of Boerne is a retired principal for WoodWay Associates LLC. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, board treasurer of the Snowmass Mountain Condominium Association, and board member and audit chairperson for the Marine Spill Response Corp. McCool received bachelor's degrees from Texas Tech University and the University of North Texas and a law degree from the Baylor University Law School.
Larry Patton of El Paso is president and CEO of WestStar Bank. He is a member of the Risk Management Association and past director of the Texas Bankers Association and Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas El Paso Branch. He is also past chairman of the United Way of El Paso County, University of Texas at El Paso 2014 Commission, Child Crisis Center of El Paso, El Paso Club, El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Education Foundation, El Paso Hospice and El Paso Hospice Foundation, and past president of El Paso Country Club. Patton received a bachelor's degree from Eastern New Mexico University.
Paul Plunket III of Dallas is an independent energy consultant. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Energy Bar Association and a member and past president of Texas Utility Lawyers. Plunket received a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
