Tampa MDA Muscle Walk Raises $165,000 for Local Families Fighting Muscle Disease

Teams of families and friends of those affected by neuromuscular disease participated in the walk wearing Muscle Walk T-shirts, team T-shirts, carrying signs and sporting walk tattoos to help raise funds and awareness for the Association.

The money raised at the MDA Tampa Bay Muscle Walk will help speed MDA research seeking treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases. Also, it will help MDA provide area children affected by muscle disease with a free summer camp experience at Rotary Camp Florida in
