The current market leaders could run into some challengers.
American Honda Motor Co., Inc. announced that the 2014 Honda Accord was recognized by KBB.com for having the lowest cost of ownership for a midsize sedan over a projected 5-year period.
According to a release, the "5-Year Cost to Own Awards" take into consideration depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state fees for new models.
The Accord was the top-rated midsize sedan by KBB.com and features "sophisticated styling, excellent driving performance and innovative features," like the available LaneWatch display.
Additionally, the Accord was rated a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and distinguished by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) with a 5- Star Overall Vehicle Score.
