WASHINGTON, Jan. 16 -- Rep. Michael Fitzpatrick, R-Pa. (8th CD), issued the following news release:
Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (PA-8) released the following statement Thursday regarding the bipartisan passage of the Exchange Information Disclosure Act [H.R. 3362]:
"Today, in bipartisan fashion, the House passed another common sense piece of legislation aimed at holding this Administration accountable for the president's healthcare law. By requiring full disclosure of exchange data, we can increase transparency and remove politics from our nation's health care information. Americans deserve to be able to see the benchmarks of this law, but, moreover, they deserve a system that works for them and their doctors - not big insurance companies."
