Dec. 14--One person was injured and another was arrested Friday after a hit-and-run collision near Minnesota Highway 23.

Just before 7 p.m., St. Cloud police officers and the St. Cloud Fire Department responded to an accident at the intersection of the highway and Lincoln Avenue Southeast. Police say their investigation found that a vehicle driven by 31-year-old JoAnn Hinojosa struck another and left the scene, according to the St. Cloud Police Department.

Police located Hinojosa who later admitted to being in the accident and fleeing the scene, police said. She was taken to Benton County Jail and could face charges including criminal vehicular operation, reckless driving and driving without no proof of insurance, police said.

A victim was briefly knocked unconscious and required multiple stitches.
