On Friday, Boyd, who is not in custody, said he was overcharged by IMAC -- the billing and premium collection agent for US Life.
"They over-billed for the premiums owed US Life and I paid the invoiced amount without knowing I was being ripped off," Boyd said.
He cited an IMAC document listing several payments.

Evidence like bank statements and accounting records were excluded from the trial and witnesses lied on the stand, Boyd said.
Boyd said he has lost everything because of this case -- he filed for bankruptcy, sold his car to post bail, cashed out his IRA, his credit is shot and he can't work because his insurance license was suspended.
