DES MOINES, Iowa, Jan. 29 -- The Iowa Department of Commerce's Insurance Division issued the following news release:
The Iowa Insurance Division (the Division) is seeking proposals from qualified service providers for professional consultant services to develop and execute an online training program for Medicare and related health insurance topics. The Division's Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) offers confidential, one-on-one counseling throughout Iowa from trained volunteers regarding Medicare coverage options. SHIIP is seeking a service provider to assist in the process of creating parts of the online training.
It is the intention of the Division that SHIIP will be the experts concerning the content of the online training, and the Division seeks a service provider that can be the expert in designing and creating the online training using Adobe Connect/Presenter (and PowerPoint).
The Division intends to award a contract beginning on March 20, 2013 and ending on December 31, 2013. Any contract resulting from this RFP shall not be an exclusive contract.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit competitive proposals for these services.
