WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 -- Rep. Scott Garrett, R-Ill., has introduced legislation (H.R. 41) to "temporarily increase the borrowing authority of the Federal Emergency Management Agency for carrying out the National Flood Insurance Program."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 3 and has 19 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Reps. Christopher H. Smith, R-N.J., Rodney P. Frelinghuysen, R-N.J., Leonard Lance, R-N.J., Michael G.
