New Initiative Helps Soldiers & Military Family Members Find Jobs
“Careers for Life” to Create Real Opportunities in RMI for Veterans and Spouses
AUSTIN, TX, November 20, 2012 – The National Alliance’s Center for Career Advancement (CCA) has just announced the launch of its “Careers for Life” Initiative. This exciting initiative focuses on recruiting soldiers, veterans and their spouses to pursue civilian careers in the Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) Industry. The goal of the initiative is to prepare these men and women to be “career-ready” upon their departure from the military by completing The Alliance's premiere education, training and mentoring programs.
The National Alliance “Careers for Life” Initiative is coordinating efforts with The Florida State University Dr. William T. Hold/The National Alliance Program in Risk Management & Insurance and the U.S. Army’s, Office of the Chief of Staff, Soldier for Life Office to connect transitioning Soldiers and their spouses to education resources to hone their skills and train them for new lifetime careers in the RMI Industry.
