Hiring 600 for Jobs in North Texas and West Michigan
FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
NOVO 1 is looking to hire more than 600 employees over the next 6 weeks
to meet the needs of its growing client base and support the health
insurance market’s annual open enrollment period this fall. Job
opportunities range from trainers and recruiters to licensed health
insurance agents and customer service advisors. Both seasonal and
permanent full-time positions are available and include career
development training and certification for interested candidates.
At least 400 new jobs will be added to NOVO 1’s workforce in Denison and
Fort Worth, Texas with an additional 200 in Holland, Michigan. Most of
the jobs are permanent positions and nearly 200 are seasonal positions
for licensed and unlicensed health insurance agents. “Unlike many
companies who simply ramp up hiring for seasonal business, NOVO 1 is
prepared to invest in ongoing career development for our people,” said
NOVO 1 CEO Mary Murcott. “We have year-round work opportunities for
licensed insurance agents following open enrollment and are prepared to
groom new employees for leadership positions within the company.”
As part of the initial career pathway program at NOVO 1, the company
provides free pre-certification training, and pays for the cost of the
license certification test plus licensing fee. “This is a substantial
investment for our company and a terrific benefit for people interested
in obtaining their insurance license. The pre-certification training is
$500, the test is $100 and the annual license fee for all 50 states in
the U.S. is $5,500. As a result, a new employee saves $6100 in
out-of-pocket expenses and is the owner of the license,” said Murcott.
