New Dedicated Team Offers Integrated Claims and Administrative
Support to Employers and Employees
BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Symetra Life Insurance Company today announced the formation of a new
group life and disability income (DI) insurance claims team with
advanced capabilities to provide integrated claims and absence
management support to employers and their employees.
The dedicated claims team, based in Enfield, Conn. and led by Lora
Lyons, is supported by a state-of-the-art, fully integrated system that
administers life insurance claims, short- and long-term disability
claims, and a wide range of state and federal employee leaves, including
those related to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), military duty,
jury duty and sabbaticals.
These new in-house capabilities are part of Symetra’s ongoing initiative
to expand its group life and DI business.

deliver full-service life insurance claims and disability management for

in all 50 states to ensure compliance.
