"It's a rewarding feeling when patients who have been with me over the years continue to come back for their dental services. Some of my patients whom I treated as kids are now bringing their children in for treatment.
"It's important to me and my staff that everyone who comes to my office experiences a comfortable, friendly environment, knowing that they will get the best dental care that I can possibly give."
While providing dentistry for the entire family, she is especially devoted to children and the elderly.
"First experiences in a dental office are very important," she said. "A child having pleasant experiences will be more eager to learn proper dental care, and will be less likely to have a fear associated with dental visits. Consequently, regular dental check-ups become a habit."
Obtaining quality dental care is an increasing problem for the elderly. Some have low income, inadequate dental insurance or no coverage. Missing teeth are not replaced, resulting in improper chewing and digestion, which increases health problems.
The probability of illnesses and diseases is high in the elderly. Some symptoms can be detected orally, such as diabetes, vitamin deficiencies and cancer. Regular, thorough dental examinations are just as important as medical examinations.
Dr. Robinson understands the special needs of children, elderly patients, and patients with inadequate dental coverage, and is devoted to finding a way to get them the quality service they deserve.
For the months of September and October SMILE CONNECTIONS is having a back-to- school special to help families with no dental insurance afford to get their children the basic dental procedures necessary for school enrollment.
SMILE CONNECTIONS is also in the process of providing dentures and partíais at an economy price so that patients who have no insurance coverage can more easily afford these services.
