Colorado Casualty™ Announces Agents’ Interactive Community™
Centennial, CO - March 2, 2010 – Colorado Casualty, a Liberty Mutual Agency Markets regional company, today introduced its Agents’ Interactive Community, an agent networking site designed to promote ongoing dialogue and idea-sharing among Colorado Casualty appointed agents and the company.
Unveiled during the company’s Denver sales meeting, the interface is designed similar to other social media sites, but will be proprietary to Colorado Casualty’s appointed agents. Two regular blogs will guide conversation topics, kicking-off with “Partnerships as the Foundation for Success,” which correlates with the company’s new tagline “Strength through Partnerships,” emphasizing its long-time commitment to the independent agency system.
“Our new communication channel allows for immediate idea-sharing among a much larger group of our partners,” said Keith Braxton, president and chief executive officer, Colorado Casualty. “Listening to varied perspectives from across our company’s six state territory will generate meaningful discussion, which we hope will reinforce our relationships and generate new ideas that can strengthen how our agents grow business with us.”
“Keith’s Corner” will be a bi-weekly blog in the Agents’ Interactive Community in which Mr. Braxton will speak to agent-based initiatives and respond to suggestions from the field. Colorado Casualty department leaders will also regularly introduce industry topics and operational announcements.
Gretchen Haney, a marketing specialist with Lovitt & Touche, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona, sees the new medium as a competitive advantage. “It allows us to communicate with our peers more readily, which will provide insight to their regional appetites that we can apply to our own business strategies. Just as important is the opportunity for more dialogue with company representatives and hearing feedback outside of regional meetings.”
The Agents’ Interactive Community is Colorado Casualty’s latest initiative aimed at furthering communication among agents and with the company, and achieving greater agency satisfaction and success. A recently published J.D. Power and Associates survey of more than 2,300 agents found that insurers can best improve agent satisfaction through key carrier contacts, with 28% of respondents ranking that as most important to them.
