Aetna is now offering individual health insurance plans to Costco members in Florida.

In a release, the Company noted the Costco Personal Health Insurance program insured by Aetna includes five plans and offers medical benefits, dental options, a network of doctors and hospitals, and services, tools and information, tailored to meet the needs of Costco members.

"We recognize the importance of providing affordable health solutions that deliver value and convenience to individuals and families. We are proud to join with a respected retailer like Costco to provide health insurance options to their members in Florida," said Barbara DeMaio, head of Individual Business for Aetna.

John Conlon, Director of Insurance Services for Costco, said, "There are a variety of plan types to choose from, each offering the right combination of quality, value, and special members-only benefits."

Costco currently operates warehouses.

Aetna is a provider of health insurance products and related services.
