Jan. 24--Superior Vision, an eye-care insurer in Rancho Cordova, on Wednesday announced a marketing alliance with a South Carolina insurer.

Under the partnership, Superior Vision's plans will be offered to customers of Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Co. of Columbia, S.C.

Colonial offers disability, life, accident, cancer, critical illness and supplemental health insurance. It serves nearly 3 million customers through 75,000 businesses.
