Gary McConihay is the new environmental, health and safety manager for the Southeast operations of Frontier Communications. Based in Charleston, McConihay is responsible for implementing Frontier's safety program in West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi and Georgia. McConihay worked most recently as a director and safety team leader for K-o-S Consulting in Ashland, Ky.

Wells Fargo & Co. announced Jonathan Richardson as regional vice president for its Western Mid-Atlantic Regional Commercial Banking Office. In his new role, Richardson will be responsible for Wells Fargo's commercial banking operations in western Virginia and West Virginia.

Huntington Bank appointed Stephen Hoffman to managing director of energy banking. Hoffman will lead the expansion of Huntington's commercial banking services for the oil, gas, coal, shale and other natural gas production industries across Huntington's markets. Hoffman joins Huntington from Bank of America where he spent more than 20 years leading various aspects of the organization's energy, government and natural resources divisions, most recently as managing director.
