Pearl River, N .Y., August 3, 2012 — Mr. Joseph Fedor, Executive Vice President - U.S. RE Companies, today announced that Aryeh Sturm, who joined U.S. RE in 2008 as a fiduciary accountant, has been named Assistant Vice President of the firm for catastrophe analysis and brokerage, working in U.S. RE Analytics, a division of the U.S. RE Companies.
Mr. Sturm, who had worked as an IT Administrator and Treasury Analyst, joined U.S. RE Analytics to handle several projects in performance policy ranking and portfolio optimization with the goal of minimizing client exposure to catastrophic loss. He was formally trained as a Catastrophe Risk Analyst by RMS. Before joining U.S. RE, Aryeh functioned as assistant treasurer at OSG in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. Aryeh is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University.
