WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Get ready motorcycle fans! GEICO announced today that it will serve as the exclusive insurance company for the largest motorcycle rally in the U.S., when more than half a million people converge on Sturgis, S.D., August 6-12, for the 72^nd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

GEICO will have activities and events at two locations in Sturgis. On Main Street next to the Armory, there will be a “Meet and Greet Gecko” and a roaming Gecko for the fans along with tons of rally giveaways. At the Buffalo Chip’s location, Casey Mears’ #13 GEICO, Ford Focus NASCAR will be on display with the Gecko to meet with the fans.

Participants will also have a chance to see a new custom-built, GEICO military tribute bike created by Paul Teutul, Jr., of the Discovery Channel’s television show, “American Choppers: Senior vs. Junior.” The bike is built in honor of the military and its service members. Be on the lookout for a very special unveiling taking place at the Buffalo Chip Campground on August 6.
