For the fourth time since 2008, an executive at Intercare Insurance Solutions, a San Diego-based full service commercial insurance brokerage, has been named Top Employee Benefit Consultant, a national designation awarded to 14 individuals each year.

David Duenas, Sr. Vice President, was the only consultant in San Diego and one of three in California to receive this year's designation.

According to a release, the recognition was given by Risk and Insurance because Duenas demonstrated consistent success in delivering value to his clients. Criteria included delivering cost- savings and quality improvements, creative problem-solving, and expertise.

Intercare presented a case study outlining Duenas' success, which detailed his "unwavering commitment to client satisfaction, resulting in more than 90 percent of his clients returning year after year - a phenomenal success rate in our industry," according to Mike Barone, Intercare President and CEO.

Intercare serves more than 300 clients in diverse markets including life science, medical device, legal, manufacturing, retail, financial services, retirement communities and hospitality.
