Sen. Merkley Introduces Bill to Extend Certain Supplemental Agricultural Disaster Aid Programs

WASHINGTON, July 18 -- Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (S. 3395) to amend the Federal Crop Insurance Act to "extend certain supplemental agricultural disaster assistance programs."

The bill was introduced on July 17.

The legislation was referred to the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee.
