July 10--Detroit-based insurance broker Burns & Wilcox said it has moved its 15-person Rolling Meadows office to downtown Chicago.
It said it wanted to be closer to such key customers as Aon, Willis and Marsh.
Its new 5,000-square-foot office is at 155 N. Wacker Drive.
Burns & Wilcox, which has more than 40 worldwide offices and 1,000 workers, said it got no tax incentives to make the move from the suburbs to the city.
It serves business customers ranging from large property developers to elevator-repair contractors.
