Albert H. Allsopp, 93, died June 26th at his home in the Willow Valley retirement community in Lancaster, PA where he had lived happily for the past 11 years.

Mr. Allsopp was born in Newark, NJ, the son of Albert and Janet Allsopp. Long retired from the insurance business, he spent most of his life in and around Chatham, NJ where he was an active member and past officer of the Rotary Club and a long-time volunteer in community activities including Little League baseball and youth ice hockey.

In his later years, Mr. -Allsopp enjoyed many Willow Valley clubs and activities, especially bowling and bridge. But nothing gave him more pleasure than his volunteer work driving fellow -residents to the store and to doctor's appointments.

Mr. Allsopp is pre-deceased by his wives, Frances Brooks Allsopp and Mary Sheehan Allsopp. His survivors include his two sons, Craig of Quechee, VT and Pete of Corpus Christi, TX, and their families, including five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He also is survived by his sister, Janet Hickok, of Orleans, MA.

A family graveside service will be arranged later this year. If you wish, please make a donation in Al Allsopp's name to the charity of your choice.
