I think the city might want to consider offering Winnie Barefoot (or whomever she happens to be the day they call her) the director of development position -- it's obvious she has some kind of huge talent for separating financial professionals and government representatives from their respective organization's money and other assets.
Let's see, she defrauds banks, Social Security, and multiple insurers of $2.6 million over a three year span, and for that she is sentenced to five years of supervised release and ordered to pay restitution the judge seemingly has to ponder further.
My question for the federal judge who sentenced her -- to quote Dr. Phil, "What were you thinkin.....?" and who will be assigned to supervise her? Maybe they can let Bernie Madoff out early because this must a very important woman, and he's perfect for this assignment. They could go visit the Saudis and China and maybe remortgage the national debt and get them to throw in Tibet or something.
