The Heffernan Foundation, part of the Charitable Giving Program of Heffernan Insurance Brokers, a full-service, independent insurance brokerage firm in the United States, announced it is hosting its first annual charitable Golf Tournament on October 19 at Callippe Golf Course in Pleasanton, California.

According to a release, all proceeds from the tournament will go to the Heffernan Foundation, which provides funding for nonprofits providing direct support services to local communities in the areas of shelter, food, education and the preservation of the environment.
