DUBLIN, June 14 -- The Ireland Department of Health issued the following news release:

In accordance with the Government's decision to widen the opportunity for board membership of State Bodies, the Minister for Health, Dr James Reilly TD, invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced persons interested in being appointed to the position of Board Member of the Health Insurance Authority (HIA). Board members are appointed in a non-executive capacity. One vacancy currently exists on the Board, arising from the expiration of the term of office of a former member, and expressions of interest are now sought by persons with skills and experience relevant to the functions of the HIA.
