ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America “Hannover Life Re”, announced today the appointment of Dr. Cliff Titcomb as Vice President and Chief Medical Director, effective today.

Dr. Titcomb has over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry. Most recently, Cliff served as Vice President and Secretary for International Medical Risk Consultants where he served as a consultant to both insurance and non-insurance industry clients. Previously, Cliff served as Chief Medical Officer for ING RE. He has served on numerous industry committees including chairman of the Morbidity and Mortality Liaison Committee (MMLC), a member of the Board of Insurance Medicine, a member of the board of directors of MIB, Inc. and as Program Chairman for the American Academy of Insurance Medicine (AAIM).

Cliff is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

In his role as Vice President, Chief Medical Director, Cliff will support the continued development of our ASCENT manual, support the review of facultative cases, and research into medical topics to share with the industry.
