March 03--Oklahoma District 2 U.S. Congressional candidate Wayne Pettigrew of McAlester received endorsements from The National Association of Health Underwriters, National Association of Insurance and Financial Consultants and the Self Insurers Association, his campaign announced.

A Republican and former state representative, Pettigrew has more than 25 years experience in the private life and health insurance industry.

Sallisaw businessman Jim Harris also indicated support.

"Wayne (Pettigrew) rejects government mandates and layered regulations that cripple small businesses. There's no greater example of these types of destructive regulations than ObamaCare," Harris said.
