Data Computer Corporation of America, a consulting firm specializing in information technology services for the government, announced it has been awarded a five-year, $15 million contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
"CMS provides critical healthcare-related benefits to individuals who may otherwise find it difficult to receive such coverage," said David Bower, DCCA CEO, in a release. "We have been helping CMS support this mission for over a decade and DCCA remains committed to ensuring our customers receive the best service possible. This commitment has contributed to a cooperative long-standing relationship.
"We appreciate the confidence CMS has shown in DCCA over the years. And we are certainly looking forward to our continued partnership."
The contract, awarded through the Enterprise Systems Development ID/IQ vehicle, is to provide support for CMS' Medicare Advantage program reimbursements.
Under the terms of the agreement, DCCA will provide analytical and technical services in support of generating and verifying monthly payments to organizations associated with CMS' Medicare Advantage program. Medicare Advantage includes health and prescription drug plans offered by approved private insurance companies.
Data Computer Corporation of America provides technology support, including systems modernization solutions, web services, cyber security, and testing services.
