Max Specialty Insurance Company Adds New Hampshire, is now an Eligible Surplus Lines Insurer in 49 States

RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 5, 2008--Stephen J. Vaccaro, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Max Specialty Insurance Company, an excess and surplus lines company headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, today announced that, with the addition of New Hampshire, Max Specialty is now an eligible surplus lines insurer in a total of 49 states.

Mr. Vaccaro said: "The addition of New Hampshire gives Max Specialty a 50 state franchise by being an authorized eligible surplus lines insurer in 49 states and licensed in its domicile state of Delaware. Max Specialty and its subsidiary Max America Insurance Company, which is an admitted insurance company nationwide, are well placed to establish us as a leading U.S.-based excess and surplus lines company."

Max Specialty is licensed as an admitted insurer in Delaware and is a subsidiary of Max Capital Group Ltd.
