With the end of the Olympics fast approaching, many of the world’s top athletes are wrapping up their stays in London and getting ready to come home and find the perfect spots to display their shiny new medals. And when they get home, they’ll have to deal with all the tedious tasks that the rest of us regular humans have to deal with—like, say, shopping for the best auto insurance prices.
OnlineAutoInsurance.com, wanted to keep the competition going and assembled an event of their own: the Olympic Auto Insurance Challenge.
In the event, OAI took three of the top U.S. athletes to watch this year and pitted them against each other to see which would likely get the lowest quotes and take home the gold.
They chose swimming star Ryan Lochte, track and field powerhouse Allyson Felix and “Fab Five” member Jordyn Wieber.
The insurance experts at the site looked at their age, location and gender demographics to assess just how much of a risk each superstar athlete would pose to insurers and made the final decision based on that. Here’s a breakdown of their stats:

Gender: Female
Did Lochte win because he’s the oldest? Did Wieber’s being female help her leap into first? Did Felix’s location help her sprint to the front?
